Product Control

Controlled Product Definition

Each SafeBox product is based on a defined construction, material selection and intended application. Product configuration, components and interfaces are controlled through technical documentation and product-specific records.

02

Controlled Materials and Components

SafeBox RT is manufactured using a controlled and traceable Bill of Materials to support consistent production and product configuration.

03

Risk-Based Engineering

Product and installation risks are reviewed according to the equipment, site and intended use. For SafeBox RT, identified hazards include rodent ingress, overheating, condensation and cabinet replacement. Control measures include passive thermo-regulation, rodent-resistant seals, protected cable entries and an installation approach that avoids intervention on internal wiring where applicable.

05

Installation Control

Before installation, ALIAS reviews site compatibility, foundations, access, equipment interfaces and operational constraints. The completed installation is inspected for structure, access, security, sealing, ventilation, labelling and maintenance requirements before handover.

06

Product Maintenance

Maintenance requirements depend on the product and operating environment. For SafeBox RT, additional maintenance includes checking or replacing door ventilation filters and confirming that the roof ventilation strip operates correctly.

Standards

Standards and Technical Evidence

Applicable standards and acceptance requirements are determined according to the product, configuration, client and infrastructure environment. Examples identified in supporting SafeBox documentation include:

EN 50125EN 60529F EN 1627EN 1628:2021EN 1629:2021EN 1630:2021

The definitive standards and evidence required for a project must be confirmed against the specific product configuration and client acceptance process. No Network Rail, HS1, RISQS, CIRAS or ISO certification is claimed on this website. Certification logos must not be added without matching valid evidence.
